Cheap Disney Souvenirs: Disneyland Souvenirs $1.00 Or Less!

Disneyland souvenirs are pricey! Good thing kids are easily pleased ;) If you keep your eyes open you can spot the deals and head budget busters off at the pass. Yes, you need a Disneyland souvenir, even if it's your 7th trip this year!

Best Bet
Disneyland pressed pennies: $0.51 -- that's 2 quarters and 1 penny. Make sure it's a shiny penny so you can see the details of the embossed design more clearly!
There are pressed penny stations all over Disneyland but you'll hit the motherlode at the
Candy Palace on Main Street.
Captain Jack (DS5) just got a Bolt penny; Twirl Girl (DD2) was passed out in the stroller so we picked Snow White for her since we got to visit with Snow White for the first time this vacation!
We press pennies anywhere we can -- San Diego Zoo, Sea World, and of course Disneyland! -- so we have quite a collection. The kiddos use them for pirate treasure, or just spend minutes at a time looking them all over. (Yes, "minutes"--only a parent of preschoolers can truly appreciate the significance of that!) A surprisingly fun "toy" for under a buck, and a great memento of your trip and fun to look back on which character or ride your kids were into at the time.

Most Useful (er, if you have a girl!)
Minnie Mouse Ears Hair Clips: $1.00 each. Til I post a pic, you're looking for jewel-encrusted claw clips in the shape of a Mickey Head in pink, blue, or clear. I've found them 2 places: Fantasy Faire Gifts (across from It's a Small World) and in the World of Disney store at Downtown Disney. Grab 2 if your little Princess wears piggy tails like mine does; 1 will do if you have a ponytail girl :)

  3. Extensive marketing has made the Disney brand a strong one, and its characters, products and movies are easily purchased. Buy Disney souvenirs to share in the magic
